How long does delivery take, exactly?
Two numbers, both from our delivery terms. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of ordering. Delivery then runs 6–10 working days from order, tracked at every stage — you receive tracking with the order, and delivery is free on every UK order, whatever the basket size. Working days are Monday to Friday; weekends and bank holidays are not counted, which is why December orders need more calendar room than the working-day count suggests.
When should I order for Christmas?
Count backwards from the window, not forwards from today. The longest end of the window is ten working days. Ordered by Thursday 10 December, ten working days run out on Christmas Eve — inside the day, with nothing left to chance beyond the window itself. Ordered the following week, the same ten working days run past Christmas Day and into the days between Christmas and New Year. We state the window rather than a promise: no delivery date is guaranteed, and late November and December are the busiest weeks of the year for every carrier. Order in good time and the window is comfortable; order late and you are relying on the short end of it.

How do returns work?
You have 30 days on unworn items. Email support@wardleylondon.co.uk and we will send the return details. Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you; if an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered, that is on us and your statutory rights are unaffected. One practical point for gift orders: socks and underwear can only be returned if still sealed in their original packaging, for hygiene reasons — worth knowing before a sock pack is opened on Christmas morning.
Does Black Friday change any of this?
No. The Black Friday terms — 15% off when you buy two items, 25% off when you buy three or more, applied automatically — run until Sunday 29 November 2026, 23:59 and change only the prices. Delivery stays free at every basket size, the dispatch and delivery windows are the same, and the 30-day returns run from when the gift arrives, which is what makes buying in November for December straightforward.
