How to measure
The most reliable way to choose is to measure a garment you own that fits well. Lay it flat, smooth it out and measure:
- Chest: straight across, armpit to armpit, then double it.
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
- Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
Compare those numbers with the garment measurements on the product page. To measure your body instead, measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.

Delivery detailsOur men's wool slim tie brings a textured, country-tailoring feel to shirts and blazers through the colder months. Woven in a tweed-style wool cloth at a modern 7cm width, it adds depth to plain shirts, flannel suits and knitwear alike.
- Wool cloth: a soft, textured wool weave with flecked tweed character.
- Autumn & winter weight: a matt, slightly brushed handle that looks right with flannel, tweed and corduroy.
- Modern 7cm width: slim without being skinny, with a keeper loop on the reverse to hold the tail in place.
- Versatile: office, weddings, country weekends and Christmas parties.
Fabric & fit
Wool tweed-style cloth, 7cm at the widest point, standard adult length. Choose from Charcoal Herringbone, Brown Tweed, Brown Check and Houndstooth.
How to wear it
Tie a four-in-hand knot over a white or light blue Oxford shirt with a navy blazer, or pair the Charcoal Herringbone with a grey flannel suit. For weekends, wear the Brown Tweed or Houndstooth under a crew neck jumper with the collar showing.
Care
Spot clean or dry clean only. Untie after wearing and hang or roll loosely so the cloth can recover. Steam gently to remove creases; do not iron directly.
